Q. Does Plotfinder only list building plots?

A. lists anything that needs work and that you can build or alter to become your dream home! Our portfolio consists of building plots, conversions, renovations, redevelopments

Q. How do I see full details of a plot or property that I have seen on the site?

A. To see full details of any opportunity that is on our website you will need to be a subscriber.  Subscribe here

Q.  How to you source your information?

A. We are in touch with thousands of estate agents and auction houses all over the U.K.  We also list hundreds of plots being sold privately, that are not on with estate agents.  It is free of charge to list land on our website.

Q: How do I start receiving emails about new properties/plots added to the site?

A: Firstly you will need to make sure that you are registered and logged in.  To start receiving email updates, just perform a search, your results will then be displayed. At the top of the results list will be a button with "Create Plot alert". Click this and you will start receiving emails of new plots/opportunities which match your criteria. You can save up to 10 of these searches but can edit/delete searches whenever you like. (This is done in the "my profile" section). 

Q:How do I get started once I have subscribed?

A: After you have subscribed you will receive an email, this is your order confirmation which will instruct you to register on in order to get your subscription started.

The following process will apply to successfully set-up and access your Plotfinder subscription:

· Visit

· Log in if you’re already registered with or create a new registered account

· Visit ‘my profile’

· Hit Subscribe now

· Enter your redemption code – this will have been provided via your order confirmation

· You’ve now successfully completed the registration process and you’re now a subscriber

· Start your search via

Q: I have forgotten my password.

A: Go to 'Login' then click on 'Forgotten your password?';. You will be asked for your email address and then emailed immediately with details of how to change your password.

Q: My subscription has expired, how can I renew this?

A: Please call us on 0344 848 2852

Q: I need to change my details.

A: Once you have updated these in "My Profile" please then Contact us to ensure we can update your details in our Master database to ensure uninterrupted access. If you need to change your email, please email us here.

Q: I have land to sell, how can I get this on Plotfinder?

A: It's free to add property to Click on the link at the top of the page which says 'Add a plot', you can then fill out a form that goes straight to the Plotfinder team for moderation and as soon as that is done it will go live on the site.

Q: How do I get free tickets to the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

A: As a subscriber you will get the opportunity for free tickets to all of the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows. To claim tickets for the show you would like to attend, call 0844 581 1377 and have your subscriber number to hand.

Q: I have just registered but cannot see full details.

A: In order to see full details you need to subscribe.

Q: How does the map work?

A: On every property listed there is a pin icon just below the plot image. Once you have clicked on this the Google map will appear in a new tab with a marker indicating the location of the plot or property. If only the first part of the postcode is specified in the plot listing, then a Google map will appear outlining the area.

Q: I'm trying to subscribe but I can't enter my details.

A: If you are a new user trying to subscribe but you can't see anywhere to register your details it may be because your browser is storing old information, especially if you're using a shared computer or device. The best way to fix this is to clear your cookies. There are different ways to do this depending on which browser you are using. Follow the links below to find out more:
