Q: How do I start receiving emails about new properties/plots added to the site?

A:To start receiving email updates, just perform a search, your results will then be displayed, at the top of the results list will be a button asking you if you would like to get free plot alerts, click this and you will start receiving emails of new plots/opportunities which match your criteria. You can save up to 10 of these searches but can edit/delete searches whenever you like. (This is done in the "my profile" section). You must be registered to save searches and receive alerts.

Q:How do I get started once I have subscribed?

A: After you have subscribed you will receive an email, this is your order confirmation which will instruct you to register on in order to get your subscription started. If you have already registered on, simply log in, in the top right hand corner.

Q: I have forgotten my password.

A: Go to 'Login' then click on 'Forgotten your password?';. You will be asked for your email address and then emailed immediately with details of how to change your password.

Q: My subscription has expired, how can I renew this?

A: Please contact us with your contact details and someone from the Plotfinder team will call you.

Q: I need to change my details.

A: Once you have updated these in "My Profile" please then Contact us to ensure we can update your details in our Master database to ensure uninterrupted access.

Q: I have land to sell, how can I get this on Plotfinder.

A: It's free to add property to Click on the link at the top of the page which says 'Add a plot', you can then fill out a form that goes straight to the Plotfinder team for moderation and as soon as that is done it will go live on the site.

Q: How do I get free tickets to the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows?

A: As a subscriber you will get the opportunity for free tickets to all of the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows. To claim tickets for the show you would like to attend, call 0844 581 1377 and have your subscriber number to hand.

Q: I have just registered but cannot see full details.

A: In order to see full details you need to subscribe.

Q: How does the map work?

A: On every property listed there is a pin icon just below the plot image. Once you have clicked on this the Google map will appear in a new tab with a marker indicating the location of the plot or property. If only the first part of the postcode is specified in the plot listing, then a Google map will appear outlining the area.

Q: I'm trying to subscribe but I can't enter my details.

A: If you are a new user trying to subscribe but you can't see anywhere to register your details it may be because your browser is storing old information, especially if you're using a shared computer or device. The best way to fix this is to clear your cookies. There are different ways to do this depending on which browser you are using. Follow the links below to find out more:
